  54. You must be setting DIR$ to "DH1:AMOS/NSLE", because its after dh1: and that
  55. draw (amazing what you can find out with a hex reader!).

  57.    After I'd made a draw on ram disk and assigned dh1, it worked fine.

  60. PS. NEVER NEVER NEVER use assigns unless you REALLY have to!!!!!! (This goes
  61. for every one) Infact, don't use full path names unless you have to, just
  62. work from the dir AMOS' already in by not quoting a drive and drawer in the
  63. file names.

  65. If you must remember a directory (say you use a file requester), use
  66. OLDDIR$=DIR$ before the requester then later when you want to go back there
  67. use DIR$=OLDDIR$ after the requester.

  71. published (I actually ended up sending it again, I'm not sure if it
  72. helped).
