Hi Everybody,

I'll tell you why, *it doesn't work*, thats why:
You must be setting DIR$ to "DH1:AMOS/NSLE", because its after dh1: and that
draw (amazing what you can find out with a hex reader!).
After I'd made a draw on ram disk and assigned dh1, it worked fine.
PS. NEVER NEVER NEVER use assigns unless you REALLY have to!!!!!! (This goes
for every one) Infact, don't use full path names unless you have to, just
work from the dir AMOS' already in by not quoting a drive and drawer in the
file names.
If you must remember a directory (say you use a file requester), use
OLDDIR$=DIR$ before the requester then later when you want to go back there
use DIR$=OLDDIR$ after the requester.
Anyway, when I sent my 'Wizards of Odd' off to AF, it took /ages/ to be
published (I actually ended up sending it again, I'm not sure if it
helped).
> So hopefully, everyone on the Amos mailing list should get a copy.
Whats wrong with uploading it to aminet?
See ya.
